Mean Green Machine
This blog site documents my solo cross country bicycle adventure that goes from San Diego California to St. Augustine Florida - 3,200 miles. The trip is planned from November 21st until January 5th. The goal is to ride 80 miles per day for 40 days with 2 days of transport and 2 days for rest or bad weather. Gonna be a major challenge and a trip to remember!

Who is Spaulding? is she riding with Wilson? in the Sherpa Van? Sounds like Theresa had lots of good food for Christmas! Floridians are much cooler people - BE SAFE!

There goes another state in your rear view mirror. Congrats on crossing the Florida border...St. Aug is just a few pedal strokes away!!
P.S. OK, so maybe "a few" is a bit of an understatement.
P.P.S. I don't think your route goes thru Destin, but if it does stop in at Robin's Bike Shop. Robin used to lead rides out of the shop down to a coffee shop in Seaside where he picked up the tab for the java! Gotta love a bike shop owner like that!!
Sheila and Doug - Miss Spaulding was the cute little ball that Wilson met at the hot tub in Del Rio Texas while I was out to dinner. She is real cute.
Duane - thanks for the continued encouragement and excellent advice. I do not believe we will hit the Destin area but if we did, I would certainly look this guy up as he sounds real cool.
