Yup, Kevin and Teresa Smit totally shocked me today by "letting" me catch then on the road just past the Texas line. It looked like 2 riders on a break away and I reeled them in. What a coincidence to run into them on the same little road in Louisiana:-) They drove for over a thousand miles and through the night from Raleigh to participate in my trek.
